会议简介 About the Symposium
2022年10月31日世界城市日的全球主场活动将回到始发地中国上海举办，这将标志着本年度全球范围内为期一个月的“城市十月”活动达到高潮。本次“城市儿童友好空间建设”论坛作为2022世界城市日全球主场大会的配套活动之一，由中国城市规划设计研究院和联合国儿童基金会联合主办，由中国儿童中心、中国城市规划协会女规划师委员会协办。
2013年12月第68届联合国大会通过决议，决定将每年的10月31日设为世界城市日。世界城市日是我国政府在联合国推动设立的首个国际日。设立世界城市日的目的是提高国际社会对全球可持续城市化的关注，推动国家和城市间合作，抓住城市化带来的机遇，应对其挑战，为全球城市可持续发展做出贡献。
世界城市日是以上海世博会主题“城市，让生活更美好”作为总主题，每年根据当年的情况设定不同的年度主题。今年世界城市日的主题为“行动，从地方走向全球”。该主题体现了国际社会对可持续发展目标本地化的关注。要实现可持续发展目标，我们只剩下7年多的时间，需要我们立即采取行动。地方行动对于在2030年前实现可持续发展目标尤为重要，联合国人居署希望借世界城市日之机，汇集各方的经验与智慧，分享他们在采取地方行动实现可持续发展目标方面的经验、方法与成效，以及如何增强各地区和地方政府的能力，以创建更加绿色、公平和可持续的城市。
中国的城市建设已由快速扩张转向更高质量多内涵式发展。正如总书记所说，“人民城市为人民”，而儿童是城市未来的主人，为儿童提供适宜成长的友好空间，建设“儿童友好城市”是中国新时代人本视角下城市建设的新要求新方向。本次论坛以“城市儿童友好空间建设”为主题，旨在促进儿童友好城市建设方面的国际交流与合作，更好推进中国儿童友好城市的建设及城市空间的适儿化改造，为儿童创造更好的发展条件和成长环境。
本次研讨会对于全面提升城市发展质量,不断满足人民群众日益增长的对美好生活的需求,促进城市经济社会持续健康发展，有着非常积极的意义。
On 31 October 2022, the global observance of World Cities Day will return to Shanghai, China where it was first celebrated. World Cities Day marks the culmination of the month-long Urban October. As one of the supporting activities of this year's World Cities Day, the Symposium is co-sponsored by the China Academy of Urban Planning and Design and United Nations Children's Fund, It is co sponsored by the China Children's Center and the Women Planner Committee of China Urban Planning Association.
In December 2013, the 68th session of the United Nations General Assembly adopteda resolution to designate 31 October as World Cities Day. World Cities Day isthe first International Day promoted by the Chinese Government at the United Nations. The Day is expected to greatly promote the international community's interest in global urbanization,and push forward cooperation among countries in meeting opportunities and addressing challenges of urbanization, and in contributing to sustainable urbandevelopment around the world.
With"Bettercity, Better life"of Expo 2010 Shanghai China as the general theme, World Cities Day has different themes each year based on the situation of the year. This year, the theme of World Cities Day is"Act Local to Go Global", reflecting a focus on localization of the Sustainable Development Goals. We have just over seven years left to achieve the SDGs, which requires our immediate action. Local actionis critical to achieve the SDGs by 2030. UN-Habitat wants to take the opportunity to bring different partners and diverse stakeholders together to share their experiences and approaches to local action, what local actionworked and what is needed to empower local and regional governments to create greener, more equitable and sustainable cities.
China's urban construction has shifted from rapid expansion to higher quality and multi connotation development. As the General Secretary said, "People's cities are for the people", and children are the future masters of cities, providing children with friendly spaces suitable for growth. Building a "child friendly city" is a new requirement and direction of urban construction in China's new era from the perspective of humanism. The theme of this forum is "Urban Children Friendly Space Construction", which aims to promote international exchanges and cooperation in the construction of children friendly cities, better promote the construction of Chinese children friendly cities and the adaptation of urban space, and create better development conditions and growth environment for children.
This seminar has a very positive significance for comprehensively improving the quality of urban development, continuously meeting the people's growing demand for a better life, and promoting the sustainable and healthy development of urban economy and society.
