Since 2004

Spokesman from China Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday that starting from April 29, 2023, Antigen Rapid Test (ART, including ART home testing kit) result done within 48 hours will be accepted for air passengers to China instead of PCR test. Airlines won't check test results when boarding.

This will apply to all air passengers, no matter which country you are from.
