Office of international student affairs (OISA) will post news and information about the prevention and control of novel coronavirus infection at Study in SISU. China has confidence and capability to win the battle against the epidemic caused by the novel coronavirus, the Foreign Ministry said on Friday after the World Health Organization declared the pneumonia outbreak in China a public health emergency of international concern.

根据学校最新通知要求，2月3日-2月14日，学院办公室及留学生办公室将实行居家办公，如须咨询结业证书、成绩单、退学、休学等教务相关问题，请发送邮件至：shangwaiguojiao@126.com。如须咨询在学证明、签证、奖学金、学费等留学相关问题，请发送邮件至：oisa@shisu.edu.cn。邮件请写明姓名、学号、类别、国籍及具体咨询内容，值班老师将及时查阅，并邮件回复学生。 |

为了做好相关防控工作，切实保障广大师生员工的身体健康和生命安全，学校决定推迟2020年春季学期开学时间。所有学生（包括本科生、研究生、国际学生、培训生等各类学生）务必不要早于2月20日（周四）返校。原定开学前的补考、社会实践、实习等教学科研实践活动延期。具体开学时间以及进行学校另行通知。
In order to prevent and control the new coronavirus infection and protect the physical health and life safety of SISU teachers and students, The opening of spring semester of 2020 will be POSTPONED. All students, including bachelor / postgraduate students / international students / training students, please DO NOT RETURN to the university before February 20, 2020 (THU). Teaching, scientific research and practice activities, such as make-up examination, intern and social practice, will be POSTPONED. The new opening day & time and follow-up arrangement will be notified soon.

上海新增7例新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎确诊病例
市卫健委今天（31日）通报：2020年1月31日0—12时，上海市排除新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疑似病例20例；新增治愈出院4例；新增确诊病例7例，其中外地来沪人员4例，本市常住人口3例。
7 new cases of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus have been detected in Shanghai till the noon of January 31, 2020.
