如果生活不够慷慨

『作者寄语』

What inspired me to write this poem was my brother. He was going through some bad stuff, but it was fixable. It wasn't as bad as what a lot of people go through in this world. 

写下这首诗的初衷是为了安慰我的弟弟，他有过一段痛苦的经历，但这悲伤并非不可愈合，这世上有过比这更加痛苦经历的人很多。

Actually, he selfishly brought it on himself. I tried to talk to him as much as I could, but he wouldn't listen. He refused to let it go. He just kept holding onto it. 

然而他一直把过去的事放在心上，任我怎么安慰都没用，他就是不听劝，还一直为此郁郁寡欢。

When I couldn't get through to him, I wrote this poem because I needed to write my feelings down, and this is what came out. Hopefully you enjoy it.
