Thin shadows cast horizontal slants… waters clear, faint fragrances float through moon’s dusk. The Spring Festival’s end, though still suspended in still frigid, crisp air, brings with it plum blossoms not afraid of the cold - blooming on branches for the second time throughout major parks and scenic spots.
“疏影横斜水清浅，暗香浮动月黄昏。”立春节气一过，虽然尚春寒料峭，但不畏严寒的梅花已在枝头次第绽放，这几日，各大公园、景区陆续迎来梅花的盛放。
梅花盛开之前往往需要一场低温的“唤醒”。低温之后，便是积蓄能量、准备开放阶段。但梅花开放又需要在5℃以上的环境下，且越温暖花开得越早、越灿烂。前段时间有过最高温接近20℃的天气，促使一些梅花争相开放，迎接春天。

瓜渚湖梅园
在瓜渚湖梅园，记者看到红梅的枝头满是圆圆鼓鼓，黄豆般大小的花骨朵，偶有几朵梅花已经绽放。眼下大部分梅花的花骨朵已经孕育成熟，呼之欲出，只需要几天的暖阳就能使它们盛放。预计今年梅花全面开放将在2月中旬，盛花期可持续至2月底、3月初。记者了解到，瓜渚湖畔的梅园，涵盖了梅花的全部八大品种群，有23个品种、780余棵梅树。

Jinghu Meishan Park, located in urban Shaoxing, plays host to one of the area’s largest plum gardens, nestled over 27acres at the foot of the Meishan Mountain. With more than 2,000 branches on which 6 strains delicately perch, visitors can stroll through the serene expanse at their leisure, taking in every sight and sound the way nature intended.

绍兴市区沈园的梅花因陆游而远近闻名。“香穿客袖梅花在，绿蘸池桥春水生”，梅花中有着陆游的影子，在沈园，一边赏梅，一边还可以从诗词中品悟诗人波澜壮阔的人生和情怀。
