21.3 billion yuan! Another new high!213亿元！再创新高!

Recently, Keqiao Economic Development Zone (Jinkeqiao Sci-Tech City) chaired its 2023 government, bank, and enterprise (project) symposium, with 30 heads of various fields (including biomedicine, electronic information, intelligent manufacturing, new materials, and more) gathering with 23 banks to discuss the future of the region and beyond - as Zhejiang Hanmai Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Junhua Smart IoT Technology Co., Ltd. hosted credit signing ceremonies with the Agricultural Bank of China and Bank of Shanghai, respectively, alongside 8 additional bank-enterprise cooperative ventures. On-site signings and commitments amounted 21.3 billion yuan, a new record high.

As the largest platform for the integrated development of industry and talent regionwide, investment introduction has remained the “#1” project of Keqiao Economic Development Zone (Jinkeqiao Sci-Tech City) since its inception, signing and introducing 18 major investment projects last year, including Baowu Carbon Fiber and Zhongjianxin Group, to a total investment of 37.85 billion yuan, including 2 projects exceeding 10 billion each. 38 high-quality talent technology projects have been introduced, from “Zhongke Zhiliang New Energy” to “Skyworth Microelectronics ” and more, 4 industrialized talent projects completed, and agreements for 18 industrial projects exceeding 100 million yuan each finalized alongside 19 new construction, and 25 new production projects.　　

作为我区最大的产才融合发展大平台，项目招引一直是柯桥经开区（金柯桥科技城）的“一号工程”。去年，柯桥经开区（金柯桥科技城）集中签约引进宝武碳纤维、中建信等重大招商项目18个，总投资额达378.5亿元，其中，100亿元以上项目2个；引进落户“中科致良新能源”“斯凯沃微电子”等优质人才科技项目38个，完成产业化人才项目4个；落户亿元以上产业项目18个，新开工入库项目19个，新投产项目25个。

“With this kind of credit guarantee, we can face the future of development in Keqiao with even greater confidence,” remarked the representative from “Changding Electronics,” Zhi Jie, before adding that the company plans to construct a series of high-precision optical coating production lines in Keqiao, making it the largest single polarizer material production base in the world, accounting for 35% of global market share. Construction is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of this year, with full operations following in the fourth quarter of 2024.　　

“We will continue to focus on urban renewal, industrial upgrading and other key areas, giving priority to supporting the financing and credit needs of advanced manufacturing projects, whole concurrently focusing on the myriad of scientific and innovative enterprises that have settled throughout the district… striving for greater credit support from higher authorities to promote industrial improvement, upgrading, and transformation,” explained the on-site representative for ICBC’s Keqiao branch, adding that financial institutions will provide support for enterprise development through credit funds and initiatives.

In order to best facilitate bank-enterprise cooperation, Keqiao Economic Development Zone (Jinkeqiao Sci-Tech City) carried out visits, tours, and research activities, acting as the “liaison” between enterprises and the banks that back their pursuits. “Next? We’ll continue to push on with further improving the ‘employee/employer’ spirit of service projects and enterprises, striving to form a positive, lasting pattern of effective connection and interaction between government, banks, and enterprises,” the relevant person in charge of the economic development zone was heard to say, while also noting the project’s promise to provide exemplary service and promote high-quality development in both economy and society regionwide.
