Welcome to our hometown! The first stop is the capital city--Urumqi, it is the gateway to discover Xinjiang and the Culture of Silk Road. You can take one day Heavenly Lake tour to enjoy the picturesque Tianshan Mountain. And then drive to Turpan, the famous trading post along the ancient Silk Road, Get to the ruins of Jiaohe to imagine how prosperous the business trade a thousand years ago. You will be amazed by the locals that made the Karez well irrigation system, which create the oasis.

Uighur Village
Set in a green valley fringed by the Flaming Mountains, this mud-brick village offers a fascinating glimpse of traditional Uyghur life and architecture. Visiting Tuyoq is a little like time travel, save for the odd awkwardly parked Landcruiser on its narrow, crooked streets. Don't leave without trying some of the locally produced mulberry juice or dried berries, available near the entrance.
Heavenly Lake
As the closest Top attraction in Urumqi, Heavenly Lake is the ideal resort for the locals. You can go there all the year round, enjoy the different and unique view of the lake. Flower covering the side of the Lake in Spring, enjoy the cold and fresh air in summer, witness the golden mountains covered by the leaves. Snow-caped mountain in winter and go skating on the surface of the lake.
Ancient Jiaohe Ruins
There some people saying "You haven't been to Turpan if you haven't been to Jiaohe." It is one of the best-preserved earthen architecture sights in the world, was an ancient city that was strategically located along the old Silk Road. Here you can find the most beautiful landscape and profound history at the same time.

D1: Urumqi Arrival
Today your flight will touch down in Urumqi, We will meet you at the airport exit with a welcome board and then transfer to the local hotel check in. The rest of the day is free for you to explore this city.

D2: Urumqi-Heavenly Lake
Today you will drive to the picturesque Heavenly Lake, which is surrounded by the snow mountains, blooming wildflowers, evergreen pine trees. Trekking along the lake in the fresh air. or you can explore further uo to the Maya Mountain by the cable car to enjoy the magnificent view of the Mountains. Afterwards, transfer back to Urumqi about the other 1.5hrs, visit the Xinjiang International Bazaar, the largest bazaar in Urumqi. You'll find a bustling market filled with fruit, clothing, crafts, knives, carpets and almost anything that you can imagine.

D3: Urumqi-Turpan
Today we will drive to the histroical sites and oasis land of Turpan. A must and first visit is the oldest Uighur village Tuyoq Village located in the very center of Flaming Mountain Canyon. The village consists of four parts: Canyon scenery, Maza tomb and the old buildings of the ancient village. And pay a visit to the Jiaohe Ruins, one of the best preserved ruins of its ancient era in China, it was include in the World Heritage List on June 22, 2014.

D4: Turpan-Urumqi
Morning depart from the hotel, we will head to the Karez Well, which is special kind of irrigation system, here you can not only visit this ancient irrigation system, but also get rid of the heat of summer.
In Turpan Gaochang District, there is a must-see place for travelers. It is a collection house. The owner is a 71-year-old man who is friendly and easy-going, and loves to chat. People named the shop "Turpan's Grandpa Antique Museum".
Then explore the Sugong Minaret, the largest Islamic minaret in China built in 1778. After visiting, we will transfer back to Urumqi for rest.

Nanshan Hiking
Urumqi--Nanshan Chrysanthemum View platform
Driving time: 80kms, 1.5hr driving
After breakfast, at 9 am, drive about 80kms, 1.5hrs. We will arrive at Chrysanthemum View platform. Then we start to trek about 10-12kms along the road in the Nanshan mountain. You should bring some snacks and around 3pm back to the village at the foot of the mountain for late lunch in local Organic Restaurant. Back to Urumqi around 17:30.

Nanshan Hiking
Urumqi--Nanshan Shuixigou County
Driving time: 80kms, 1.5hr driving
After breakfast, at 9 am, drive about 80kms, 1.5hrs. We will arrive at Shuixigou County. Then we start to trek about 6kms one way to the water fall in the valley, and then back to the entrance to have lunch in the local Kazahk Yurt. On the way back to Urumqi, there is a 2kms trekking route which is named Tianshan Route. Today a special afternoon tea will be arranged for you to taste coffee and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Nanshan.
