Shapotou

Visit Shapotou where integrates desert, yellow river, mountains and oases. Experience the Sheepskin raft, the oldest transport on Yellow River. In the 1940s and 1950s, land transportation was not very developed, Sheepskin raft was an important means of water transportation for people in Ningxia and the middle and upper reaches of the Yellow River.

Tonghu Grassland

Admire the stunning Tonghu Grassland, Enjoy the fun of sand sliding, camel riding, desert surfering in Tengger Jinshahai Area. Stay at a tent for an incredible view of the desert and enjoy the marvelous starry sky in the desert.

Winery Tasting

You will have enjoyable hours in three wineries with different styles in Yinchuan, taste the good wine, learn more wine culture, and also can DIY a can of brandy if you are interested.

D1

Arrive in Yinchuan & Sightseeing

Take a morning flight from your city to Yinchuan. we will meet you at the airport and take you to the first site Shuidonggou, a military defense base along the Great Wall of China, where a lot of military buildings and facilities were built to defend against the northern nomadic tribes. 

After an exploration, we will travel to the Great Wall of Ming Dynasty(1368-1644), which is the most solid, complete and mangnificent wall in China's history. It was well-designed, and is known for its unique structure. 

Next, continue the tour to Warriors burrow, it is the only ancient three-dimensional defense system with the complete preservation in China. this can be used to conceal the army and protect them.

Yinchuan - Zhongwei

• Distance: 204km, 2-3hrs driving

• Hotel: In Zhongwei

Enjoy your buffet breakfast at the hotel, then we will drive you to Western Xia Imperial Tombs, located on the eastern slopes of the Helan Mountains, about 30 kilometers west of the city of Yinchuan. It is unique among royal burials. The layout is patterned after the celestial bodies. 

Thereafter, enjoy your time at Xige Winery  and taste three different kinds of wine. then we will proceed the tour to Tonghu Grassland, which is variety of natural and cultural landscapes such as desert, salt lake, wetland and grassland are gathered. Spend the night in Zhongwei.

Shapotou & Jinshahai Desert

• Hotel: In Tent in Shapotou

The tour today will start from Shapotou Scenic Spots, the biggest natural sand slide field in China. It is also one of China's Four Resonant Sand Fields. When the weather is great, you are able to sliding down the sand hill can hear the sound of sand underneath them, like tolling bells. The experience there is quite adventurous and breathtaking. 

After that, continue the tour to Tengger Jinshahai Desert, where can experience the sand sliding, camel riding, desert surfering if you like. Overnight in a tent in Shapotou.

D4

Zhongwei - Yinchuan

• Altitude: 1020m

• Distance: 204km, 3hrs driving

• Hotel: No

After breakfast, start a half day desert tour, you will discover the mysterious desert scenery. We will drive back to Yinchuan after the  and head to Zhi Hui Yuan Shi Winery, a simple and elegant Chinese Garden Winery. you will taste two different kinds of wine. If the night market is open, you can also enjoy a walking tour at Huaiyuan Night Fair.

D5

Yinchuan Departure✈️

After breakfast, drive to visit LONGYU ESTATE, a high-grade comprehensive manor integrating grape planting, high-grade wine production and wine culture display. you can taste two wines and experience the DIY. In the afternoon, we will transfer you to the airport based on the flight schedule.

1. 4 to 15 pax in a group (4 pax min, 15 pax max)

2. Typically we will take 2000 RMB per person as deposit when you book the trip (You can pay the deposit through WeChat/Alipay/bank transfer.)

3. Then the balance will be paid when you arrive. (Note: The balance needs to be paid 7 days before departure if your trip is just in the official Chinese holiday. E.g. Chinese New Year, Labor's Day, National Day)

1. FULL REFUND at least 2 days before departure date. (Note: except the cost of service fees paid for the third party, such as flight ticket refund service fees)

2. FULL REFUND if there is no flight and train to arrive resulted from extreme weather or government restrictions.

For Long-term activities for 3 days or more

1. FULL REFUND at least 5 days before departure date. (Note: except the cost of service fees paid for the third party, such as flight ticket refund service fees)

2. FULL REFUND if there is no flight and train to arrive resulted from extreme weather or government restrictions.
