All You Need to Know about Grade 1 Enrolment
The Grade 1 enrolment process at Huili School Hangzhou will officially commence on June 10th, 2020. As all Primary and Junior High schools in Hangzhou will adopt the online enrolment system this year, please be aware of the following information and be sure to complete the procedures accordingly, within the designated time. In this article, we will answer some of the frequently asked questions.

Designated registration website: https://xxbm.hzedu.gov.cn (Grade 1 Enrolment Management System in Hangzhou)
Date and time
a. First round: 9:00-21:00 each day from June 10th to June 16th for eligible pupils meeting requirements in Xiaoshan District, open to Xiaoshan District only.
b.Second round (supplementary enrolment across Hangzhou city): 9:00, July 6th to 12:00, July 7th. Pupils who selected public schools in the first round are eligible for second round (supplementary) enrolment in private schools. It is open to pupils across Hangzhou city.
How to register: Choose Huili School Hangzhou (杭州市萧山区惠立学校) under the private schools in the Xiaoshan category.
Eligibility check: Please check the eligibility of your child on the Grade 1 Enrolment Management System in Hangzhou website from 9:00 to 21:00 on June 22nd and 23rd.
Enrolment announcement time: Private schools will announce enrolment results on July 2nd, and July 11th.

What are the registration requirements in Xiaoshan District?
Children born between Sep 1, 2013 and Aug 31, 2014 meeting one of the following requirements are eligible to apply for private schools in Xiaoshan District:
Children of households registered in Xiaoshan.
The child(ren) or one of their parents own(s) and live(s) in a residential house of independent ownership in Xiaoshan.
The child(ren) or one of their parents has/have Residence Permit(s) in Zhejiang with a Xiaoshan address.
Children with Xueji registered in Xiaoshan.
Children of all 'level talents' whose service locations are based in Xiaoshan counties and streets (platforms).
Children meeting other relevant policies.
Q
How many pupils are eligible for the first-round registration last year at Huili School Hangzhou? My child does not have a Xiaoshan Hukou. Is there any chance that s/he can go to your school?
Around 25% of our Grade 1 pupils have Xiaoshan Hukou, according to our research on pupils enrolled in 2019. Therefore, we encourage you to choose our school in the second (supplementary) round.

Who are eligible for the second (supplementary) round? If I chose a public school in the first round, can I still apply for your school at the second round?Private primary schools with insufficient applicants are open to supplementary enrolment, regardless of the applicants’ Hukou location. It is open to the following applicants:
Children who applied for public primary schools online.
Children who applied for private schools but were not enrolled.
Applicants who apply for private primary schools in the first or second round but are not successfully enrolled can apply for public schools. However, priority will be given to children who apply only for public primary schools based on the enrolment priority principle.

Is there a Junior High school at Huili School Hangzhou? Will Grade 6 pupils be admitted to Grade 7 in your school?As Huili School Hangzhou includes both Primary School and Junior High School covering Grades 1 to 9, our Grade 6 pupils can be directly admitted to our Junior High School.
Q
Can I change my choice after registering online?
Within the timeline of 9:00—21:00 every day from June 10th to June 16th, you may register and complete your online application, and change your information and school choice. However, you are not allowed to register, fill in application or make changes after the deadline, which is after 21:00, June 16th.
When private primary schools with insufficient applicants start the supplementary enrolment process from 9:00 on July 6th to 12:00 on July 7th, eligible children or their parents may enter the system online and fill in applications or change their school choice. However, you are not allowed to make changes after the deadline, which is after 12:00, July 7th.

Our enrolment plan
Grade 1: 120 pupils (5 classes, 24 pupils per class).
Open for children born from September 1st, 2013 to August 31st, 2014 who meet the enrolment policy of the Education Bureau.
