It’s Scholarship Season 2023-2024学年耀中耀华奖学金计划开放申请
Last year, we received over 100 scholarship applications from our YCIS community and all over China. We are pleased to announce the Yew Chung Yew Wah (YCYW) Scholarship Programme for the 2023-2024 academic year and are now accepting applications for students entering Year 7 – Year 13.
The YCYW Scholarship Programme is a merit-based award that acknowledges the highest level of academic achievement, leadership, and service. It targets highly motivated and talented students from around the world who can benefit from bilingual international education with a strong creative element.
The scholarship programme, which focuses on discovering students’ unique talents and skills, has three award categories: The Madam Tsang Chor-hang Memorial Scholarship; the Yew Chung Yew Wah Subject and Talent Award; and the Yew Chung Yew Wah IGCSE/ IB Award. Each of the categories recognises achievements in academics, art and design, music, the performing arts, and sports. Community engagement is an important part of this mix.
In the 2021-2022 school year, successful YCYW scholarship recipients saw nearly 4 million RMB in awards for their first year. The Madam Tsang Chor-hang Memorial Scholarship recipients will receive a 50%–100% tuition fee exemption for up to four years and also provide opportunities for our students to engage with the community and develop collaboration and leadership skills.

秉承“与科技结盟、与文艺结盟，与仁爱结盟”的校训，耀中耀华于去年九月设立奖学金项目，旨在肯定和鼓励更多取得傲人学术成就或在其他领域拥有卓越表现的学生，及为更多来自不同背景的杰出学生创造接受优质国际教育的机会。经过七个月的激烈角逐，在百余名申请者中，最终分别有6位学生获得曾楚珩女士纪念奖学金 (整体学术成绩奖学金)、耀中耀华学科及才能奖及耀中耀华IB奖，8位学生获得耀中耀华IGCSE奖。

在2021-2022学年，我们共提供了近400万金额的奖学金奖励，其中，曾楚珩女士纪念奖学金得主获得了为期四年的50%-100%的学费减免（每年须重新评估）。耀中耀华希望通过这一奖学金项目，为学生提供更多的发展机会，培养他们的社区服务、团队协作及领导能力等。
校内及校外的7-13年级学生均有资格申请耀中耀华奖学金，其中，曾楚珩女士纪念奖学金 (整体学术成绩奖学金)对所有7-10年级的学生开放；耀中耀华学科及才能奖对所有7-13年级的学生开放；耀中耀华IGCSE/IB对所有10-13年级的学生开放。值得注意的是，所有校外申请人须先递交入学申请材料，并接受CEM及CPT测试，方能申请耀中耀华奖学金。
